KINGMAN – It was a successful outing for Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. The local gym recently took a group of members to the Jiu-Jitsu World League in Phoenix and finished first out of about 70 teams.

“We were kind of shocked that we did as well as we did,” said Carlson Gracie coach Orrin Lancaster. “…We have normal everyday people from all over Kingman working all different jobs. Our intent was to just go out there and take it to whoever was in front of us. And everybody did. Now everyone is excited and wants to do more.”
