Santa Claus makes his grand entrance courtesy of an escort by the Kingman Fire Department.

A sister/sister effort in getting while the getting is good.

KINGMAN – Plenty of anxious children had their noses pressed to the windows of Elks Lodge #468 on Gates Avenue while waiting for a Christmas Eve visit by Santa.

More than 200 kids and parents – some thrilled, others just waiting to get it all over with – waded through a snake-like procession of excitement, confusion and hot chocolate.

Santa arrived via firetruck courtesy of the Kingman Fire Department. No Arizona Department of Public Safety Ranger chopper drop this year.

It didn’t matter to the army of spazzed-out kids waiting for their chance to get one of many gifts brought courtesy of donations and those purchased through funds reaped from Elks’ annual charity ball.

Andy Devine Days 2017-18 Rodeo Queen Dalace Beiswenger and Teen Rodeo Queen Angela Bernal assisted the gainfully employed Mr. Claus in passing out gifts.
